IMC INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH CONFERENCE
(IMC-IRC) 2024

Organized by XLRI Jamshedpur & INDIAN MANAGEMENT CONCLAVE

Date: September 19-20-21, 2024 | Venue: XLRI Jamshedpur

Theme: Advancing Management Education

Introduction to the Conference

Management learning and education (MLE) is a growing and developing discipline. It continues to evolve as paradigms about the relevance of scholarship for the practice of the profession are challenged (Armstrong & Fukami, 2009; Bilimoria & Fukami, 2002). MLE is a distinct field of study with its own set of journals representing its body of knowledge, and as the field of management education evolves and shifts, the outlets for research findings on teaching and learning also need to change to reflect the current paradigms of the field (Currie & Pandher, 2013).

With XLRI Jamshedpur completing 75 years, Indian MBA education has completed 75 years. Today, with more than 3,000 MBA programs being offered, India is world’s largest center for business and management education. Recent trends that have infused dynamism in management education include expansion of undergraduate management education, introduction of new digital learning programs and changing industry demands.

To catalyze impactful research and dialogue in the realm of business and management education, XLRI Jamshedpur and INDIAN MANAGEMENT CONCLAVE (IMC) proudly present the IMC International Research Conference (IMC-IRC) 2024. IMC-IRC 2024 is an integral part of 14th INDIAN MANAGEMENT CONCLAVE 2024, being organized by XLRI and IMC. Read Highlights of 13th IMC 2023 and 12th IMC 2022.
